Join us for a hands-on introduction to sewing with Jade Tyler, pattern designer and creator of These Days Patterns. This beginner-friendly workshop is perfect for those who want to learn the basics of sewing in a fun and supportive environment. You’ll leave with a finished makeup bag, new skills, and the confidence to take on more sewing adventures. Come ready to learn and create!

What’s included:

• Direct instruction on machine safety and setup, essential sewing tools, how to choose the right needle, understanding seam allowances, working with woven fabrics, stitching, ironing, and seam ripping
• Printed These Days Makeup Bag pattern
• 1 yard of high-quality cotton fabric from Fringe Fabrics (you’ll have several colors and prints to choose from)

Class details:

• This is a BYOM (Bring Your Own Machine) class. We want you to become comfortable with the machine you’ll be working with moving forward, so please plan to bring your personal home sewing machine (we’ll have a few extras on hand just in case)
• Class is limited to 5 students
