Is your favorite pair of jeans sitting in your closet, unworn, because of a rip or two? How about an heirloom jacket with a couple of holes? In this 2-hour visible mending workshop, Molly Prentzel will show you how to use patching and Sashiko mending techniques to rescue your damaged clothes and turn them into one-of-kind creations. 

What’s included:

• Direct instruction on visible mending techniques, plus communal mending time with one-one-one assistance
• Sashiko starter kit (needles, thread, embroidery hoop, stitching templates)
• Access to our shared fabric stash, which includes scraps of high-quality linen, cotton, and silk
  

Bring one or two items in need of repair (jeans, button-downs, and jackets are a great choice for the techniques we’ll cover in class). We can’t wait to mend with you!
